The agreement between you and Ascend.
Last updated 1 October 2026
By using Ascend you agree to what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Ascend is a daily practice for personal development: rituals, habit tracking, reflective writing, and an AI guide called Athena. It is a paid service: you try it for seven days first, and then you hold a plan or you do not.
Ascend also does not give financial, legal, or medical advice. The Wealth pillar is a set of budgeting and planning tools, not financial advice, and no outcome is promised.
Athena is generated by large language models. She can be wrong, and she can be confidently wrong. Treat what she says as a prompt for your own thinking, not as instruction — and never as professional advice. Usage limits apply per plan and are stated in the app.
Don't use Athena to generate anything illegal, abusive, or designed to harm someone. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your journals, reflections and check-ins are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your writing, show it back to you, and pass the necessary parts to the AI providers who generate Athena's replies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your writing, we do not publish it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
If you post a win to a shared space, you are choosing to show it to other members there.
The app, its design, its written content and the Ascend name remain ours. Personal use of the service is fine; copying or reselling it is not.
Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, don't try to reach other members' data, and don't get around plan limits. Any of these may end your access.
We aim to keep Ascend running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and features may be withdrawn — when that happens to something you are paying for, we will say so plainly rather than let it quietly stop working.
You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription, delete your account, or simply stop using it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.
Ascend is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Ascend afterwards means accepting them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and disputes belong to its courts — except where consumer law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which it may.
